Kona, HI 2013

We headed to the Big Island of Hi in January for a much needed family vacation and to meet our awesome Alaska Family! We snorkeled our hearts out, soaked up a bunch of vitamin D, caught lots of geckos (or atleast the poor little tails), swam with the green sea turtles, visited a volcano and saw the glow of lava, put our feet in the black sands, visited Place of Refuge, ate a ton of shaved ice (snow cap please) and most importenly we were able to spend time with our wonderful AK family! 21 people in total with 8 very sweet, very cute children in tow!
