Succesfully planted and growing in our backyard:
Watermelon
cantalope
pumpkins
onions
lettuce
carrotts
cilantro
sunflowers
sweet peas
And,one other flower I cannot remember...
Succesfully not growing in our backyard:
Bell Peppers :(
Chickens (we want chickens some day)
Lots of sun and water and weeding and looking and most importantly, basking in the glory of our work!!

Hurray for gardens! Just a little advice for a successful garden in Idaho...Keep our sweet little friend named Whitney away. hehe
She dug up some of my vegi garden the other day just as the seeds were coming up. Unfortunately I didn't do a very good job remembering where I planted what so I am not sure if I should try reseeding it because I may end up with some squash/cucumber hybrid or something.
